Manouri Cheese

Manouri is the most famous soft cheese of Greece (PDO since 1996) produced traditionally from the whey of sheep’s or goat’s milk. It’s white, creamy and, due to its exceptional health-giving characteristics, it’s ideal for a low-fat diet.

Many recipes include Manouri as a main ingredient. Check the following: Spinach salad with Manouri, Manouri with sesame and honey, filo pastry with manouri and tomato chutney, beetroot salad with Manouri and walnuts. It’s also delicious just with basil pesto and olive oil.
